Introducing Midnight Train duo!
For more than 15 years, Kelly and Allison have played together as part of a duo and trio, performing in countless venues across Southeast Queensland servicing weddings, corporate functions, festivals, large clubs and intimate restaurant settings.
After a few years away traveling, they have returned to the South East Queensland music scene, as the duo 'Midnight Train', bringing a sophisticated piano lounge sound with classic songs performed in cool new arrangements.
From Norah Jones to Billy Joel, Amy Winehouse to Lady Gaga, with splashes of old time jazz and Motown hits, there's something for everyone in their repertoire.
Classy and professional, this duo is perfect for any occasion and can easily work with you to create your perfect wedding day or meet any special function requirements.
Kelly
With initial performance roots in the world of dance, Kelly turned to singing at the age of 17 and has spent the subsequent years singing professionally in touring cabaret shows, tribute shows, cover bands, duos and as a solo jazz performer in theatres, restaurants and bars throughout Australia, Japan and Great Britain. Kelly has also performed key roles in local musical theatre productions within Brisbane, and currently teaches at a Brisbane dance school.
Allison
Allison is formally trained on piano and clarinet, and studied music theory and history at the University of Queensland. Allison has performed in Brisbane musical theatre productions and as a member of local ensembles and bands. Since 1995, Allison performed at weddings and functions across South East Queensland in the classical duo, Concertino, and the cocktail music trio, 3 to Tango. Allison also currently performs as part of five-piece covers band.
